Introduction

Some   FLOWERS   of   Renaissance

IGNATIUS LOYOLA , after reading the FLOS SANCTORUM has experienced a Rebirth by resorting to a Glorious life in which He founded the COMPANY OF JESUS .

Later on, a member of of that Organization the Scholar FATHER ANTHONY VIEIRA DISTINGUISHED AS VIEIRA would say " SAINT IGNATIUS was the FRUIT of FLOS SANCTORUM . FLOS SANCTORUM was the FLOWER, SAINT IGNATIUS was the FRUIT."

F LOS SANCTORUM was the life and works of DISTINGUISHED   SAINTS   and in a curious sort of FLOWERS , their glorious deeds ( MIRACLES ) .

The FLOS SANCTORUM " FLOWER OF SAINTS" was without a doubt a Masterpiece and inspires fulfilling the Avant-Garde tradition of the Season, the Renaissance.

The 2013 epic for the HELENA Flowers began as the Renaissance, in Firenze where - during the participation in the Exhibition of Florence Luci e Colori Hotel Domus Florentiae - received the Criticism of Alfonso Confalone

Toscana Oggi , Firenze, 20 Gennaio 2013 ,

"La Portoghese Helena Amaral    che fa fiorire i sogni."

"The Portuguese Helena Amaral who makes flourish the dreams" That Criticism would inspire me deeply, linking the FLOWERS OF HELENA to the World of Dreams or Visions.

500 years later, the Portuguese Edition of the FLOS SANCTORUM is commemorated and illustrated in an expressive manner by the Miraculous   HELENA   FLOWERS. Helena Amaral who is not need strange to   TRANSCENDENT VISIONS   .

0.Vision of   ST. ANTHONY with The BOY

  Chapter 1

ST. ANTHONY makes FLOWERS in Italy

( Author's Note: June 13, 1996, I was in Napoli (Italy) - to receive the Prize for Painting in Sezione Avanguardia by Accademia d' Europe - when I went   from a Boat ride a few ladies have offered me some prayers for a SAINT that was neither more nor less ST. ANTHONY of Portugal. It seemed to me totally unexpected see ST. ANTHONY popular, in that place so remote.

  Mário Fortunato

   ).

ST. ANTHONY although born in Portugal and wanting to go to Morocco, was led by forces of fate to Sicily, starting with his life of Glorious in that would most of the time in Italy. ST. ANTHONY arrived to visit his master St. FRANCIS in ASSISI. At this time St. FRANCIS still lived, the MOUNTAIN OF ASSISI had a certain SACRED power. Following the tradition - RELIGION - Jewish, CHRISTIAN and BUDDHIST was a place of Transcendence   somehow connected to PARADISE .

As his Master - St. FRANCIS ASSISI - also ST. ANTHONY did a sermon on the Fish that They applauded and that was one of his first MIRACLES . The march 15, 1513 was published the Portuguese Version of the FLOS SANCTORUM , almost 500 years later, (On 13 March 2013) a Jesuit priest, Bishop Argentine Jorge Mario Bergoglio would be elected POPE, taking the name of SAN FRANCISCO). The already luminous city of ASSISI has acquired a new LIGHT and euphoria Cultural .

In june 2013 FLOWERS OF HELENA participated in an exhibition in ASSISI, which would have much success and inspiration:

  Chapter 2

FLOWERS crossing Oceans

In 1220, ST. ANTHONY   had a beginning of his Glorious life, very bumpy. He initially had no intention of going on Mission to Morocco, but the fury of Nature - which included Sea storms and Malaria which suffered in Morocco - led to Sicily. Thus the Fury of Nature led SANTO ANToNIO toward a Glorious life. The Fury of the Sea, which by 1220 led SAINT Anthony of Morocco to Sicily - at the beginning of his Missionary life - takes it later in the Future.

Thus ST. Anthony would travel the Epics Were Portuguese Maritime, and more particularly to the 16th century and 17th the huge travel of JESUITS (among whom St. FRANCIS XAVIER and FATHER ANONIO VIEIRA ).

Participation of the HELENA   FLOWERS    in the   collective exhibition in New York, Amsterdam Whitney Galler y ,      OCTOBER 4- NOVEMBER 5, 2013

In 2012-2013, Helena Amaral has returned to work with a Gallery in New York (USA), after 1995-97 in which he had entered in events of Montserrat Gallery . The Amsterdam Whitney Gallery - located in the neighborhood of Chelsea, one of the most Prestigious in the world of Painting - had an appreciable logistics that included the production of excellent Magazines ( Art Acquisitor ) and Artistic Calendars .

" By emphasizing the immediacy of the artwork and highlighting the visceral experience of the viewer, Helena Amaral uniquely merges the transcendent mysticism of pure color with forces of nature, a connection that is frequently overlooked within today's technology-based society.

(Memories of the Author

Once, on a night of passage of year hit a candle and a blaze has invaded my body. My Father Prof. Soares Fortunato, who was next to me grabbed a newspaper and with him, blew out the Fire .

The Master Helena Amaral when I was very young boy told me many times the following story "was once a boy who was always complaining of his Mother by this have their hands dark. However once there was a fire and the boy was rescued by his mother who played the hands to the fire. Since then, the boy never stopped to praise the beautiful hands of his Mother."
